increasing memory value

my uncle has windows xp pro in his dell, and its using a LOT of memory. he has pentium 4 2.4 gb and 512 mgb ddr memory.

does anyone have tips for getting the most out of his memory?

First thing would be to do the normal spyware and virus scans. Next thing would be to check out BlackViper's Site and follow some of the guides there.
