weird files, possible virus?

on my WinXP Home machine i went into the task manager to see if i had any files running that i knew were spyware or something, i have bveen getting tons and tons of pop ups lately! i have adaware, spybot and Norton virus scan. all updated and didn't pick up anything but there are some files with weird names that when closed either reopen or open another file. these are the files:
IKernel.exe
MwdDO78j.exe
Xpgg5.exe
Czcy3Fz.exe
YebU6l.exe
BsyNP.exe
urlmap.exe

anyone know what these are? thanks!

You're being over run with infestation? The urlmap file is the only legit looking one.

These very well could be trojans that are much harder to detect.

if you Google the file names, i.e. MwdDO78j.exe, you will probably get a link for each that will give you information on that particular file. If it's a legitimate file you should get a lot of links. If it's bogus maybe only one or two.

Those may be those new type of trojans that get installed straight from web pages. I don't know if there's a MS fix or anything, but I find that I can just delete the executable file in Windows Explorer and nothing bad happens.
