bootup blue screen
when i try turning on my computer i get a blue screen error.. lemme start at the begeinning
i recently (week ago) installed new mouse.. it kept asking me for drivers but it came with no cd or floppy, so ive been ignoring it.. i was test playing a game for my dad when it froze.. so i ctr + alt + del.. then THAT froze.. so i held in the power button on the computer to turn it off they are wat i think are causing the problem.. windows xp, ask me for more info if needed.. now back to the error.. in the short term it says it can't boot because hardware or software.. (hence above) and it tells me to uninstall the stuff (can't.. won't boot) disable BIOS memory options.. (don't know how to get in it..) anyway.. UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME STOP: 0x000000ED (0x812AC9E8,0XC0000032,0X00000000, 0X00000000) hope that helps... to help me.. ty!!! -noob |

um.. new problem...
is there ANY way to get the files we had back? i tried to do a recovery from few days back when it was ok.. but whatever he did erased all them and started with yesterday after it was fixed.. i was counting my losses for all my long hard time consuming projects.. then i was like, loss is a loss.. but then i just remebered i had 200+ $ worth of cd keys and stuff saved in my documents that are completely gone
