Pro vs Home
Hi!
I'm just about to finally upgrade from Win98SE after many loyal years. The decision is to buy an OEM version of the XP OS, the proffesional version is priced at £99 and Home at £55. What are the key differences between the versions? I know Pro has superior networking ability (and I am moving into a shared flat next month that will be networking) but does it have any more features that can lagislate for the large price difference? Thnx |

Here's a comparison of features between Pro and Home: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/p...choosing2.mspx
It all boils down to personal preference, and utilization of the added features. Personally, I like having the extra tools to manage my system, not just networking ability but the ability to configure the system better. |

does XP Home still have the Automated System Recovery feature? The article is a little confusing and obviously this is one of the main features.
