Smile Question about re-booting

I have no clue where to post this so I'll post it here!

My local computer shop told me that there's a way to restart your computer by using the keyboard, and I'm not talking about ctrl-alt-del. I've never heard of this. Like for instance if you had one of those cases with the little teeny tiny reset buttons, you could use the keyboard to reboot.

Is there a way??

I guess if you have a keyboard that supports that

Late note here - on some recent boards, there are options in the "Power Management" menus in the Bios that will let you define a hotkey to do things like this. [. . . and, when Windows is already running, ALT-F4 exits the program running in the active window. . . ]

good point about closing programs with ALT F4
but he said he wanted to restart and that would do that just right after closing all open programs.
Unrelated but useful :
I like ALT F4 for closing annoying popups. When you are attacked by popups with no x in upper corner and no close or cancel option you can try the ALT F4. It does not always work but often does.
