I messed up the registry

I was trying to get rid of the eBay toolbar, so I searched the registry deleting everything that has to do with the eBay toolbar. There was something about a short cut to the toolbar, so I deleted that. It turns out, that it was the part of the registry for all short cuts. Now, every short cut everywhere doesn't work. Is there a way to fix this?

What version of Windows, please?

If it's 98, restart in DOS mode and type SCANREG/RESTORE at the C prompt - and put a known good registry back. If you have ME, you can do this in a DOS window. If it's 95, you have problems, you may have to reinstall Windows over the top.

Not sure which but spybot 1.3 or adaware will also offer to remove the ebay toolbar.

Once you restore you can try it.
Spybot:

Adaware:

Scanreg fixed it. How do I back up the registry now incase I have to do it again?

Spybot messed up the toolbar, so I was going to reinstall it, but I couldn't. It said it was already installed. Spybot got rid of the uninstaller, so I had to way of actually removing the toolbar and getting it again. I think I finally got rid of it, but I still can't reinstall.

Scanreg runs on every bootup unless you remove it from the startup, and it makes a backup the first bootup of each day, and keeps the last 5 backups. To do a manual backup, follow the same procedure but it's SCANREG/BACKUP .
