hey there,
i need some urgent help! i need to uninstall windows xp pro as i will be using the computer for a party and need to format it in order to install windows 98. the thing is that the oc i will be using is a pentium 3 450Mhz and in order to have a smooth play i will be needing to install windows 98 instead, pls help me out! The first thing I would do would be to google "delpart" without the quotes, read the instructions on how to use delpart, copy it to a floppy, reboot, remove partition, throw in win 98, and sit back.

Use the manufacturer's disk tools to run a zero fill. Then, boot off a win98SE floppy to partition and format. Finally, stick in the 98 CD, boot off of it, and go ahead and install the O/S.
