Over the past of a couple years I purchased a XP OS Disk for each computer in my home just as B.Gates told me. I should have labeled each box for the computer it was originally installed on but I didn't.
Currently I have (1) computer that needs a complete OS re-install, but I don't want to use a disk that is already loaded onto another computer. Is there a way for me to identify a particular XP disk to it's associated computer? Thanks! |

The XP CD doesnt matter as much as the CD Key does. You can use something like Aida32 to verify what CD Keys have already been used by your CDs. Then use a CD key (from among your list of CD keys that are printed on the media that you bought) that has not already been installed.
