Hey again..
I've reinstalled windows XP home now, but when I restart my computer, I'm asked to select MICROSOFT WINDOWS XP HOME EDITION, or MICROSOFT WINDOWS. If I select the MICROSOFT WINDOWS option, I am delivered to the C:\ . How did this get here, and how do I remove this? I want my computer to boot straight into Windows XP without any OP selection. Thanks |

if you right click on my computer, go to properties, go to advanced, click on settings for startup and recovery, and then click on Edit (1/3 the way down). this will pull up your startup file. both should be listed. remove the one associated with microsoft windows, underneath [operating systems]. you will be all set.
