Simple Question....I hope

I want to buy WIN XP for my new build. My question is this.....on Newegg it states that the OEM WinXP must be purchased with hardware. What exactly does that mean? Do I have to purchase I specific piece of hardware?

Any piece of hardware will do. If you've already bought all your parts and are looking to just buy the OS now, buy a keyboard or mouse or cable, something cheap to go along with it, because that qualifies as a hardware purchase.

Just pick up a Radeon X800 Pro to fulfill your hardware requirement. You can keep Windows XP and I will take the card off of your hands...Free of charge!
