problem updating
I'm having security problems and need to load a lot of updates but every time I try somthing goofy happens and the only way to get my puter to work again is to restor and I dont have the updates. The last time I had to go into safe mode to restore I'm kinda afraid to load updates. I don't know what to do.

Well, my recommendation would be to install updates one at a time - start with the "Critical Updates" which don't require seperate installations, then work yourself to new SPs and stuff. Note down the ones that don't work.
By the way, are you using Win2000 or WinXP? Hope that helps, kram

What kind of internet connection are you using?
How do you know that the updates have not been applied? Try running one update at a time.
