I use Startup Control and Startup Monitor (www.mlin.net). You can use Startup Control to delete. Startup Monitor is also handy because some programs try to sneak back in. This will alert you.

I used the program, but it showed only the programs I have checked for startup, not any of the unchecked ones showed up for delete.....

just about everything in there comes from the registry.
regcleaner is a nice tool to delete them, or if you know how to use regedit you can do it by hand in hkeylocalmachine\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\run |

Check them in MS Config. They'll show up on the bootup in Startup Control. Then delete them. If there are multiple entries, you might have to do it once for each time.
There may be other ways. |
