Dear freinds,
Recently I have got a new system with Win XP professional in My office. I am one of the administrator of our network. Now my system configured to take my login with my network username and password. Also it is allowing anybody with the Administrator username and password to log in. I donot want anybody else other than me to login as most of the time I have some confidentiral data in my system. I am new to XP. Can some body kindly help me? Regards, Srinath India |

We have MS Exchange running. We use network logging for this also as well as to share resources like printers, HDD space etc.

Ok, In the control panel (in classic mode), go to User Accounts. Click on a user > "change my password". Enter your current password (or leave blank if there is no password), and enter a new password. Then hit "change password".
Next, boot up in safe mode and do the same for the Administrator account. |
