Windows 2000 Remote Access Service problems

Cannot get a DUN connection established on this RAID PC with an ABIT TH7II RAID mobo. History is that the customer reinstalled W2K and ever since cannot set up an Internet connection. Also following probs in Device Manager:

? Mass Storage Controller
? PCI Device

There are only 2 PCI cards – one is the Matrox video controller (for 2 screens) and the other is a LAN card. W2K happily has a LAN card controller configured in Device Manager.

After reinstalling W2K, SP2 and adding IE6( M$ fix as per Article 318183) with no result – I then tried Adding a DUN in Internet Explorer. Got the Error 711 Cannot load the Remote Access Connection Manager Service.

Then went into Services and tried to Start the RAS service. Got the Error 5 Could not start the Remote Access Connections Manager. Access denied.

Not very familiar with RAID, not sure what to try now

Have found the answer to the problem - install SP4. That fixed the RACM error.
Not documented anywhere, I spent a long time trying M$ various solutions with no good result.
