When you highlight a list of files within a folder, Windows Explorer under the Details heading keeps a count of the number highlighted and the combined total file size. However, after 100 items are highlighted, it continues to keep track of the number of files but no longer gives a runnng total of the total file size. Is there a way to fix this problem? I want to be able to copy files onto CD's and want to know that I haven't run over the 702MB capacity, have to delete temporary files and start the copy process over again until I get the number reduced to the proper level. I know there is software that will do this such as Nero but prefer using the W.E. highlight and copy method.

Have you tried selecting the files you want moved and then doing doing ALT+ENTER for properties, it should count down the exact size of the selected files in bytes.
