Msconfig and startup...

By any chance if I posted up the list of stuff which boots up with my PC which is listed in MSCONFIG, if anyone here could tell me what I could get rid of? Im scared to do it myself as I know there are important items in there which could go wrong, and I also want to keep Norton loading on boot up - but I have so much useless stuff it seems in there...

I'm just asking if it would be possible beofre I post ti all up..

...thanks for any help!

Have at it. Note next to each of the items you are familiar with to avoid having items considered that should not be.

all i have is av, firewall ,and mozilla. on xp. w2k has something else can't think what but it wont take it out anyway just puts it back when i uncheck. uncheck one at a time and see if everything is ok, if not put it back. most things are not needed on start up.

Use these sites to check out what they mean are used for and if you need them running. Most of them you probably don’t need running and you would not mess anything up by disabling them from running at startup. I only have about 5 things set to run at startup.
