WIN2k Crash on login

I am running windows 2k on an AMD machine, it is a part of a small workgroup.

Whenever I start it up, windows loads up just fine, I get to the login screen, and when I log in, before I get to desktop I get the blue screen of death and it tells me there was a problem with a particular memory address and that as a result physical memory was dumped yadda yadda...

What should I do? I am able to boot into safe mode with networking, which is what I'm doing right now. I have uninstalled a lot of programs and taken most everything out of startup so far.

Thanks!!

Hi Spork:
What is the exact error message? Not enough to tell us that you have a BSOD with a particular memory address (all BSODs are of that nature); note down the exact address and check with the Microsoft KB for any related errors or post back here.
