Okay, I recently put in a new hard drive on my brothers computer, and had WinXP running fine. After I put it back in his hands he went back online and began using Yahoo DSL internet service.
Now after the OS loads an error message occurs in a dll.file (I assume this is a driver file for win) and then yahoo's web page appears asking for registration. My brother already registered and it won't allow me to do it again. Also I called the number provided by yahoo and they were no help...told me it was the OS. I have already ran Ad-aware and Spybot S&D to make sure it wasn't a bug or anything, but still nothing. I have done a full system scan with norton anti 2k4 and there are a number of at-risk files that I can't delete. Two things: The error message, and the at-risk files....any help on this matter? Do I need to give more information? Thanks RoyalT |

The EXACT verbage of the error message will make a lot of difference.
9 out off 10 times you can search the error here and find a solution. Search the Knowledge Base http://support.microsoft.com/default...&ln=EN-US&FR=0 |
