Problem Changing Homepage
When I go to change the homepage - it tells me that only the administrator can change. This happened after getting some adware in my computer. I got it back to my homepage by doing a system restore but I still cannot change to a different homepage. Haven't had much trouble with it recently but thought someone might know how to fix this.
I was told to reinstall Internet Explorer and was told it was more trouble than it is worth. What do you think?

Have you run Adaware and Spybot S&D? That definately would be my first step.
Otherwise, are you sure you are logged in on an account that has administrative rights? |

Yes, downloaded spybot and use regularly - but still no luck. I only have one user on the computer and it is adminstrative.
