WinXP upgrade install

My personal copy of XP pro is an upgrade version. Is there a way that I can install it without having to first install Win98 every time? Thanks!

Cool

Yes you can do a fresh install with the upgrade version as long as you have a qualifying OS for verification. This appears to be your case.

Set your PC to boot from the CD and boot up with the XP CD. During the install process it will ask for a qualifying OS. Pop in your WIN98 CD. It will check it and then ask for the XP CD and continue the install.
