XP Not Installing

I, recentlly upgrade my computer with a new motherboard and process. The problem is windows xp will not install. I boot form the cd and evrything goes as it should unitl xp starts to install and I get this message

If this screen appears again, folloe these steps: Check to be sure you have adequate disk space. If a driver is identified in the stop meessage. disable the driver cheeck with the manufacutrer for driver updates. Try changing video adapters. Check with your hardware vendor for any bios updates. Disable Bios Memory options , such as caching or shadowing. If you need to use Safe Mode to remove or disable components, resart your computer, press F8 to select advanced sartup option, and then select safe mode.

P.S. I've tried to follow the instructtions as best i could but i'm lost I would appeciate some guidence.

Are you running with any PCI cards? Try removing them. It could be the board, ECS in my experience have had all sorts of problems.

I have two pci cards. On is the modem and the other is a video card. Unfortunatly, i can't take out the video card bucause i wont be able to view with my monitor.

If you only have one memory module download memtest from http://www.memtest86.com/ and put it on a floppy and test the ram.

I switched slots is it working ok so far


still same error
