Windows 2000 Boot Problems
When I boot my computer, it will startup normally for the most part until right before the desktop and task bar is supposed to show. it will freeze. it takes 3-4 times of restarting the computer before it will start. It is a NTFS format with Windows 2000 Pro. Help...?

It could be that some bogus program is trying to start every time windows loads. Has your computer been cleaned of spyware/malware/adware/viruses recently? Cleaning your computer of those would be an appropriate first step. Just let us know if that doesn't solve anything for you.
