Windows XP desktop
Above the taskbar, on the rightside of my desktop, windows display its version numbers. how to remove it from my desktop?

Do you maybe have some kind of a beta version ? As far as I know final versions don't display the version numbers on the desktop.
Or you can also change the wallpaper, maybe it's just that. RJ
