Question MS Outlook

I am creating 2 profiles. When I invoke MS Outlook the profiles come up but it doesn't ask for passwords. Does anyone know how to turn these on?

Thanks
Steve

sjm1027,

What type of email accounts are you checking with Outlook? If it's something like Hotmail, then it probably has the 'Remember Password' option checked in the profile...

If you're not familiar with checking this:

START>SETTINGS>CONTROL PANEL>MAIL
Click on the appropriate profile and select PROPERTIES
Then click on E-MAIL ACCOUNTS
Click NEXT to VIEW or CHANGE EXISTING ACCOUNTS
Click CHANGE when the account is listed

From here you should see the various settings for the profile...

If you have questions, feel free to reply with them.

HTH,

Question

Thanks LiVeWire,
I have a question. I have used outlook express in the past and it works great under a profile (steve) I can have 4 email addresses under that 1 profile and only have to type in 1 password in the beginning. In Outlook I have to type in all 4 passwords if I select not to remember my password. What I wanted to see is 1 password for 1 profile and all the accounts under that profile just have system remember the password. BUT the thing I see missing is the profile not having a password. It just has a name and you click ok then the account askes for password...
I hope I made this clear enough... sometimes I confuse myself.

Outlook express handles it very well but I like the options in Outlook.

Thanks
Steve
