Hibernation?

Does Hibernation Clear the RAM? I would assume so, since there is no longer any power in the RAM.

Yes, it saves the contents of the ram to the hidden hibernate file on the hard drive then powers the machine completely off. On restart it restores the ram contents.

it puts all thats in the ram on your HDD and when you restart it its gonna put it back in the ram.

O if I want to clear the RAM, i'd have to actually restart?

You would have to shut down completely, then start it back up again.
