What OS do you have? Do you have System Restore turned on if available? Have you cleared out your temporary internet files? Temp directories?

Try running a disk clean-up. Right click on the drive in my computer, click "properties", and click disk clean-up.

The first thing you have to know, is where that space is going to. It's hard to check this with explorer, but I suggest you use 'I.disk'. You can find it here:
http://www.memecode.com/idisk.php

You don't have to install it (just an exe) and it's a great tool for getting an overview of your hard disk. Every folder is listed with it's size. The biggest on top. So I guess you'll know pretty fast which program is responsible.

If the biggest folder is windows/system32 and it keeps growing.. check for viruses then.

I checked my system with that program
and system32 is the next largest to my games and downloaded files.
I checked the virus with Norton anti-virus and I didn't find any virus.

Bermuda, nice util but I like SpaceMonger better, it's a better visual representation of your hard disk.
