Add remove list

Does anyone know how to update your add/remove program list in Win XP? I have a few things in there that are no longer on the comp and a couple that are showing the wrong values.

Hi ... Whenever you remove a program you should always do it in the add and remove programs first ... But if you have programs in the add and remove area and you can't remove them , then try this add and remove program which i use whenever a certain program wouldn't get removed in the add and remove programs of windows ... Its very easy to use just highlight the program you want remove and click uninstall , if its still there highlight it again and click remove it should no longer be listed in windows addand remove area ....
