How do I fix this?
I just got a new program to program my scanner and when I try to load the program this is what I get
 C:/PROGRA~1\Symantec\S32EVNT1.DLL. An installable Virtual Device Driver failed Dll initialization. Choose 'Close' to terminate the application.

looks like the new program has mesed up norton anti virus if you have the norton setup disk try to reinstal it or repair it

That's just it. I removed Norton it is no longer installed

i think you need the norton removal tool which version of norton did you have all so get a copy of regscrubxp if you have windows xp and run it
