Cool hibernation: XP pro

Hi! guys im a new poster here, anywy hope u could help me. im currently using XP pro the problem is it won't hibernate after setting up the time (the PC still runs after reaching the time) i like to use this option so i dont hav to worry going to the computer to shut it down while i'm doing something. by the way i'm doing this while my PC is connected to the intrnet. should I disconnect first? any advice would be appreciated thanks!..

Welcome to PCMech,

The one thing I would check is to see if you have your timer set correctly. Meaning you have the AM and the PM set correctly. If they are off it would through your timer off by 12 hours.
