A couple of SP2 questions…
Hey, I got a few SP2 questions, thanks for any answers.
1. I have heard that SP2 makes you computer boot a bit slower due to it loading a security center (or something like that) at startup, is this something that you can disable from running at startup with msconfig or otherwise? Or do you want to let it run at startup? 2. Do you need to uninstall any previous windows updates? Or does SP2 just integrate with them all? 3. Does SP2 add any additional process that run in the background (the ones viewable though the task manager)? I guess that’s it for now…

sp2 will replace all other upgrades.
it does install more security and it also turns them on, if you don't want them running just turn them off, it sreally not a problem. firewall antivirous security something, forgot now but it is fine to install, it does add some new features for the better. |

I'm not a pro but...
When I installed new versions of the beta I was required to uninstall the previous beta first. When the final version of SP2 installed, it installed without uninstalling the beta. I didn't check before and after but when I check manager now I have 26 running and I'm pretty sure that's what I had before. By computer boots within a second of what it booted before. |
