how come everyday i always see this problem logged in. what is causing it

It seems that the comp cant get an IP address. Are you having any problems with your internet? and are you behind a router? I had a similar problem today. But I found it out when I realized that I couldnt access the internet at all! After setting the factory defaults on my router and re-entering all the info (not a hard process), i was back online.
CN  EDIT: I just checked my Event Log and ive got some of those same warnings. It doesnt seem to be a problem with my internet, I guess it should be alright. Last edited by ComputerNut; 08-16-2004 at 03:12 PM. |

I dont think it should be a problem IMHO. if it was, you wouldnt be able to access the internet at all, and Id bet those warnings would keep continously coming into the event viewer. But i think a second opinion on this from somebody else would help since im not a hotshot when it comes to networks
