I'm trying to get Linux set up on my 2nd HD for dual booting. My main OS is XPpro on my 1st HD. I installed Linux and was trying to 'get the bootloader in the MBR' and loaded in on my main drive- which is the default boot drive.
When I rebooted, my screen came up with a bunch of 01 01 01 01 01 01... and won't go anywhere else. I tried restoring the Windows bootloader from the Mandrake rescue utility on the 1st disk, but when I try to choose a partition to overwrite the bootloader, it doesn't do anything. I'm unsure how to fix it, if I can, with my XP disk. Please help me if you can. thx-j |
