My mouse cursor / pointer opens the application automatically in Win XP!!!
I have a Dell Laptop Latitude X200. I am using Windows XP. The question that I have concerns the cursor. When I point to an active site or application – that is, just lay the pointer over the icon – the application opens, without
me clicking the left button on the mouse pad. How can I correct this???Please help. gwkremer@bellsouth.net |

Since I have an Intellipoint mouse by MS it is hard to tell whether you have different options. I forget. Try going into your control panel and find the mouse icon. See if there is an option in there that has been turned on or off that may help. I looked in my mouse properties, but did not see such an option. Although, like I said before I have the device installed with software so it may be different.

A frind of mines HP is doing the same thing. The touch pad is so sensitive that when you lift you finger it takes it as a tap opening the app.
