SP2 seems to be using more memory than SP1
Is it just me or does SP2 really take up more memory than SP1? I noticed that many of my programs use almost twice as much memory than before. I've been wondering about this for a while... Does anyone else notice this?

i havent tried it yet, i saw it on the automatic update icon on my windows task bar, is it safe to download and try on both my PCS ? the one in my sig (cant use it yet, only in a few days hopefully) and this older one im usin right now.
i use ALOT of programs and game ALOT, so im afraid it might conflict with something, especially afarid of it not making me able to boot up. KoMoDo |

I have sp2 and my system is running the same or maybe a little quicker than it was.I have also put it on some other rigs and none of them are showing any kind of ill effects from sp2 either.Have you ran a spyware check with either spybot or adaware? Also you may try to see if a checkdisk and defrag will improve you rig,if you havent already.I like to do them both especialy after a large download.
