Sp2 problem

Outlook express is working but can't send or receive and all the settings are the same as they were before I downloaded Sp2. Can you help?

Send a message via ICQ to RJ
Configure your firewall so it'd let Outlook Express getting online.

If you've never heard "firewall" before or don't know if you have one then you are most likely using the Windows-Firewall, which is enabled by default as of SP2.
To configure it, go to Start > Settings > Control Panel > Windows Firewall. Click on the exceptions tab, then click on "program" and choose outlook express. That should do it.

It flips through like it's looking in the outlook loading window then returns to it's original place with no message

Do you have any other programs, firewall or AV, that check your e-mail ?
Are you running them concurrently with sp2 ?

Well what I did was reapplied for the same email add and it's all back to normal. I think the new sp2 deleted those files by mistake some how. I also lost my add book but I have a back up.

Thanks for trying guys It's all appreciated
