W2K - shutdown restarts
My version of Win 2000 has begun RESTARTing whenever I try to SHUTDOWN. I am unable to Shutdown through either the START button or calling up that option with CTRL-ALT-DEL. The only way I've been able to Shutdown (using START button) is to reboot in SAFE mode. I'm open to any suggestions!

I don't think that's a software problem. I've seen this before, the shutdown goes completely through, but after the click in the psu indicating that it really got shut off, it starts booting again, right ? Might want to start by getting the mb out of the case and seeing if it happens again when you're running the mb out of the case ? Might be a short circuit doing this. Replacing the psu might also do the trick.
