Aaaack!! losing my network!
I have recently had an issue with my pc. I lost my network connection, tried to restore it, then finally I booted with 'directory services restore mode' on win2k pro, and viola! all my problems disappeared. I am still having trouble reconciling the issues, as when i boot normal, my settings go away again. i get the popups network id changed to 0.0.0.0.0 etc. when booting normal.
when i go back to dir svc restore mode more popups... changed to 172.1...etc. help me figure this out please.
i am running win2k sp4. any insight is appreciated.
