Linux

Ive been thinking aoubt trying linux well i ahve a question. If i do decide to go back to windows how will i go about wiping the harddrive and installing windwos again i dont have a floppy so i cant use a floppy. can i just use the windwos cd to delete all of the partitions will it see the linux partition. thanks for any help

Not sure about reclaiming space if you decide Linux isn't for you, without using a third-party tool like Partition Magic [which makes the process so easy it's "magic"]. Most Linux distributions (versions) will have a bootloader and partition program of some sort. If you chose to simply put Linux on an extra drive, you could revert later simply by removing the Linux bootloader (it'd be either Grub or LiLo) and using the bootfix repair for XP (you'd have to reformat the extra drive to NTFS to use it for XP, if you went that route).

I haven't stayed current with the recent versions [I have an old clunker running Red Hat 6], so some other techs with Linux experience might have some tips - - -
