I haven't had the good luck to setup a SATA board yet, but the details "should" be in your motherboard manual . . . [my guess is that if all the unzipped files fit, stick them all on the diskette]

If not, I figure this reply will bump your question back up for a little more attention . . .

Cool

On my Asus I opened the mobo CD, opened a folder called "Drivers", opened a folder called "SATA" and from there copied everything except the PDF and GUI files to a floppy. I would think you mobo CD would be similar.

I put the floppy in and booted from the XP CD and hit F6 when prompted for 3rd. party drivers.

If you are using XP, then you dont need the driver disk if you have the drives in a NON RAID config. If you still want to use the drive disk then the directory would be as follows:
PHP Code:
      A:

PIDE
            2003IA32
                 VIApide
.inf
                 VIApdsk
.sys
            Win2000
                 VIApide
.inf
                 VIApdsk
.sys
                 VIApdsk
.cat
            Winnt40
                 VIApide
.inf
                 VIApdsk
.sys
            WinXP
                 VIApide
.inf
                 VIApdsk
.sys
                 VIApdsk
.cat
        SATA
            2003IA32
                 VIAsraid
.inf
                 VIAsraid
.sys
                 VIAsraid
.cat
            Win2000
                 VIAsraid
.inf
                 VIAsraid
.sys
                 VIAsraid
.cat
            Winnt40
                 VIAsraid
.inf
                 VIAsraid
.sys
            WinXP
                 VIAsraid
.inf
                 VIAsraid
.sys
                 VIAsraid
.cat
        Txtsetup
.oem
        VT6420
