Im going crazy and could use some help.
I formatted my New hard drive and loaded Windows Xp. i updated windows and all the drivers. It was running great untill last night. all of the sudden the screen goes black and a little white line starts blinking in the upper left hand corner. It will boot up fine now and then when i try to do something it crashes like that.
Im so confuesed please help. |

o sorry. forgot that. Im running a Pcchips M950 Mother board with a pentium 4 2.6 I have a Nvidia fx5900xt graphics card. Maxtor 80gb Hard drive with a 8 mg buffer. any thing else? o and could it possibly be the new windows patch?

some systems have reported some problems with sp2, did you save the files so you could uninstall it and see if that was the problem

i believe i did but even if i didnt there is nothin on the computer of any importance. how do i go about uninstalling it?

ok i unistalled sp2 and it still crashes like that. i have no idea whats going on?

Did you try to boot up in Safe mode?

PCChips M950 Mobo
Am sure you would have found a solution by now. But I would like to know how long you have been using this Mobo before this crash? U sure you have all the jumpers correctly?
