Changing folder icons

Hi guys,
How do I change the regular folder icon in windows xp without having to go and change each one seperately. I'm talking about plain folders, not mydocuments or anything like that.

Thanx a lot

Are you talking about this?

Just open up one folder, set the folder options via toolbar like the one in the pic.

Then goto Tools -> Folder Options -> View -> Apply to all Folders.

Right click on any folder > Properties > Customize > Folder Icons: Change icon >
You can now select any icon you wish.

If you crack your shell32.dll file you may get some bad results from it. I did it a few times and got some negative results. But that's not saying it will happen to everyone who trys it. But if you change or alter your shell32.dll file you will loose your original icon you are replacing.. unless you add another resource using a resource hacker which would involve adding strings and changing Icon values. Indeed messy but it does work when your done.
