user welcome extremely slow,&/or freezes
Hello, have a presario S5200CL/ windows XP
1st user would not boot up (said a certain file was missing) so I ran "compaq's system restore and now the 1st user's area is fine NOW when I change to the 2nd user- it gets stuck on the welcome page Should I turn it off and run compaq's system restore assuming the computer will start up in the 2nd user area, since it shut down in the 2nd user area. So do I run "sys restore in the 2nd user area ? Any help much appreciated !! Thanx !!!

very slow to come up
Ok !! Update from first post !! The 2nd user area did boot up, BUT ONLY AFTER SITTING IN THE " WELCOME LOADING YOUR SETTINGS " MODE FOR
35 MINUTES !!! any advice much appreciated ! |
