Yeah, used to be able to play DVD's just fine, but after the upgrade, it gives me a 'digital copyright protection' error. I have a legally bought and paid for version of InterVideo's WinDVD. It works just fine when I play something with WinDVD, but I like the layout of Windows Media better. I went through all of the steps to troubleshoot and none helped.

Media Player 9 and upwards have one and only one really important feature. Digital "Rights" Management. So don't install it in the first place, you're just asking for bugs, new exploits and Redmond deciding what you may watch or not.
