Cannot and A program from CD

GraFx Pro Member (4 bit) Join Date: Feb 2004 Posts: 14	Cannot and A program from CD It all started one afternoon when I uninstalled Norton AV. At first it would not let me install because it could not find the s32evnt1.dll, so I went to their web site and found the instructions to manually remove the symantec product from my computer, then it would not let me install any progams at all. All that the cd does is spin up then spin down and stops. I have tried going to start/run, no good. Ad a program, no good. Explorer, no good. I have done a repair on xp from the disk and downloaded sp2 but I still can not load any programs. I have tried differnt programs but nothing happens. I can load the program on to a diffrent computer just fine so i know its not the program but xp its slef. Any ideas? Share Share this post on Digg Del.icio.us Technorati Twitter
