Blank screen on win2k or win xp install
Tried to reinstall Windows on a bigger hard drive.
Just when either Win2k or Win XP install should show "starting windows 2000" or something similar, I got a blank screen. Tried 4 times. No change. Not black, just blank screen. Changed from a Radeon 9200 to an old Nvidia TNT and the install went correctly. Is there an issue with the Radeon and Win2k, XP installs? Thanks. System: Athlon 1200 (not XP) at 1200, Soyo K7VTA Pro Via Kt133 chipset?, Radeon 9200se changed to Nvidia Vanta TNT, one SDRAM generic 512mb memory tested OK with memtest 86, 350 watt Channel Well PS, WD 1200? drive, |

You've probably got a Via chipset anomaly there. Have you tried to place the Radeon back in the system now that you've installed Windows?

Radeon put back in. System works normally. Seems odd that I could not install Win2k or XP with the Radeon.
