what is a liceince for windows?
wut is a licence for windows xp? do i need to buy one if i but the oem version or wut

The license allows you to legally install and use the operating sysem on one computer. If you buy an OEM, it will come with the license which you will type in sometime during installation. You will then have to activate Windows XP, which is simple once you have installed a modem.

With the OEM version you get a sticker to put on the case with the ID number. DO NOT LOSE IT. An OEM is for that computer only. Activation process is the same as other versions. I use only OEM. I don't need the fancy box.
