installing Win98 in logical partition

I wasn't sure which forum to submit this under cuz it deals with both 98 and XP. Anyway, I recall sometime in the past someone posted a thread saying that it's possible to change the size of an NTFS partition, add a FAT32 partition as logical/extended, and be able to install Win98 under that partition without harming the NTFS partition/section of mbr. If anyone can point me to that thread or another site that tells how to do that, it would make my day. Thanks!

Also, I'm looking for info/thread or a site that discusses how to view/alter for troubleshooting the mbr.

How to Multiple Boot Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows NT, Windows 95, Windows 98, and MS-DOS

You'll need a program like Partition magic to alter the NTSF partition. Pretty sure 98 MUST be on a primary partition.

Wait, there's that one section that says to install Win9x/ME in a different system root folder than the NTFS. But wouldn't that mess with the file system?
