Address book info

Anyone know how I can locate my stored addresses from my Address Book folder?

I reinstalled Win2k and saved the C info but can only find the executable so far.

Thanks
Dave

Hi y2kman:
Might I suggest that you post back with the information or link to the site that you solved your issue with. It helps others who are looking for the same answers during forum searches to arrive at the answers. I understand that a lot of us are extremely busy, but in my humble opinion it's just common courtesy if you expect others to take the time out to possibly answer your question that you in turn help others by posting the information - that is what makes forums like these valuable as a community resource.

Thanx.

In any event, should anyone else be looking for information on how to backup or restore address book from XP or windows 2000 OS' - the address book is located here:
C:\Documents and Settings\UserName\Application Data\Microsoft\Address Book\UserName.wab
where C is the drive your windows is installed to (system drive) and UserName is the login name you have chosen for your account on windows.
Backing up the .wab file or dropping it back to the equivalent location will restore the address book.
