Deleted ACCOUNT,need to recover

Hi recently, my friend got some PC trouble.
She made a new user account and lost her original one. Shes running on windows XP Pro.


Here is what happend

"i wanted to create new user acount to my laptop.. it gave me msg telling me that the acount should be admin account .. i said ok .. and then i make the new account and i called it "me" .. then i switched from the acount i was using "Soul" to the new acount "me" .. and then i switched back to "Soul" .. then before i turn off my laptop .. i got a msg telling me that if u turn off the comp u will lose all the unsaved information and i didnt save.
then when i switched my laptop back on, i was automatically logged onto "me" account and when i went to other user accounts. I found nothing.
my old account is deleted and with it everything!
all my stuff is gone"

update:

I directed her to check C:\Documents and Settings
and she found her stuff and her old user account.

Any suggestions now on recovering her old account or anything
