additional windows xp disk?

A little while back i was told i could call microsoft and get an additional windows xp disk for my computer since i own a licenced version of windows xp home. I called them and it was this lady from some forein country that i could barely hear and she told me that i couldnt get an additional disk for whatever reason. (the reason i want a new disk is for my new build. I want to use the licenced version off my old computer.) What do i do? do i have to buy the 200 dollar windows xp from microsoft or what?

Yes and no. You do need to get another copy of whatever OS for your other system (in your case, windows xp), however, you don't need to spend $200 dollars on it. I'm pretty sure you can get a full OEM version from Newegg for like $90 dollars. I also think to get the OEM version, you need to buy a piece of hardware, but that could simply be a cable. Hope that helps.
